  2. How to Login to SAM 2007 • Access to SAM can be obtained by: • Typing in the URL http://sam2007.course.com • Clicking SAM on your course menu • Located on the left side of your viewing window • Or clicking on the SAM icon

  3. Initial Setup • Click on New User • You will be asked to enter the 8 digit institution key.

  4. Institution Key • The institution key for Mississippi Valley State University is V7942645

  5. Access Code • You will then be instructed to enter your 18 digit key code. • If you purchased a new textbook in the MVSU bookstore your access code is included in the packet.

  6. Key Tips • Remember to make your username and password memorable. • Only fields with an asterisk are required in your profile.

  7. Join a section • Click on “Join a Section” • Scroll through the list and choose the section that corresponds to your class

  8. Assignments • Click on “Assignments” • Click on the arrow to view • Exams • Projects, and • Training • To order by date due click on “Due Date”

  9. … • Click on the link of the assignment that you wish to complete • Do not open an exam until you are ready to take it. • Opening and closing it counts as taking it!

  10. Subsequent Access • Subsequent access only requires your username and password. • Remember to deactivate your browser’s pop-up blocking feature either entirely or for the URL http://sam2007.course.com

  11. That’s it! • You are all set.
