Purpose of Today’s Workshop • Present study update • Seek input on the proposed refined LYMMO alternatives: • East/West Corridor • Parramore/Creative Village Corridor • North/South Corridor • Discuss recent and upcoming public and agency outreach events • Review revised schedule www.lymmostudy.com

LYMMO Study • Purpose of study is to provide a fresh look at potential LYMMO expansion, following Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Alternatives Analysis (AA) procedures • Mode and alignment alternatives • Ridership demand • Costs and impacts • Potential funding strategies www.lymmostudy.com

Study Area • Focus on downtown Orlando andsurrounding area, including: • The Downtown Community Redevelopment Area • Residential areas such asParramore, Thornton Park andCollege Park • Activity centers: • Florida Hospital • Orlando Health • Amway Center • Performing Arts Center • Creative Village • Sodo • Mills Park • Connections to SunRail and existing transit www.lymmostudy.com

Revised Study Focus • January 2011 • Refined East/West Corridor alternatives from 5 down to 2 alternatives • Developed alternative for Parramore/Creative Village • Presented refined alternatives to public • March 15, 2011 • East/West Alternative Study to be completed • September 2011 • North/South system study (AA) will continue with a new completion date by September 2011 www.lymmostudy.com

Study Progress To Date • Since April, 2010 • Data collection and analysis • Public workshops (August, October & January) • Developed initial alternatives for East/West and North/South corridors • Developed preliminary screening evaluation and capital cost estimates • Recommended that BRT be preferred mode • October 2010 - City of Orlando received TIGER II grant for the “Creative Village – Moving Parramore Forward” www.lymmostudy.com

Recent Public Input • January 2011 – Held public open houses at special events and neighborhood centers to discuss refined East/West Corridor and Parramore/Creative Village alternatives • What’s UP Downtown! • Martin Luther King Festival • Downtown Farmers’ Market • Downtown Public Library • John H. Jackson Community Center, Orlando Downtown Rec. Center, Callahan Neighborhood Center • Orlando Housing Authority • Community presentations • Callahan Community Center – January 24 • Public Library – January 26 • Over 200 surveys were completed www.lymmostudy.com

Proposed Refined Alternatives • Parramore/Creative Village Corridor • Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) only - streetcar too expensive • Connects Downtown to Creative Village and other destinations such as the FAMU College of Law, Federal Building, United States Courthouse and the Amway Center • Extension to Washington St. and Division Ave. provides service to the Parramore Community • Overlaps to East/West Corridor LYMMO Alternatives • Potential extension to Orange County Courthouse to connect to future North/South Corridor E.
