  3. Be Vigilant- Sea Atento Middle school is an important time in our student’s lives. However, it is also a time when we need to be vigilant of our student’s actions and habits. Ser estudiante en una escuela secundaria es ser mas independiente pero todavía tenemos que vigilar las acciones y los hábitos que están desarrollando nuestros hijos/estudiantes. CONVERSACIONES ACADEMICS What to ask? ¿Que preguntar?

  4. Grades/ Calificaciones • Students earn their grades based on how their different teachers assign those grades. Do you know what each teacher requires of your child? • Los estudiantes se ganan sus calificaciones de diferentes maneras en cada curso. ¿Conoce usted como le asigna la calificación el maestro a su hijo/a? • Dates/ Fechas • You should receive your child’s grades every five (5) weeks. Have you received them yet? • Cada cinco (5) semanas se les manda las calificaciones de sus hijos. ¿ Las ha recibido? • Comments/ Comentarios • Do you know what the comments on the report cards mean? • Sabe que quieren decir los comentarios que aparecen en las calificaciones? Please contact your child’s teacher as soon as you see necessary so that you can meet and work together to help your child succeed. Queremos que nuestros estudiantes sean exitosos. Usted es muy importante para el éxito académico de su hijo/a y sin usted no podríamos lograr nuestras metas. Necesitamos compartir y demostrarles a nuestros estudiantes que les tenemos expectativas altas y queremos que las cumplan.
