I can- Things we are working on Language Arts: ways to read a book, choosing a book, sight words, letter sounds, printing letters correctly Writing:We are continuing to write personal narratives. Math:Understanding addition as putting together and adding to, subtraction as taking apart and taking from Theme:5 senses, Columbus Day, and Motion Upcoming Happenings Fall Break/No School- October 3rd-8th October 10th-Chick-Fil-A Night 5PM October 12th- Fall Festival 2PM October 21st-25th- Early Release and Conference Week Kindergarten Connections (below are things you can do at home to help your child) Please read to your child each night. • Help your child to learn the sight words by making flashcards at home. • Please check your child’s folder every night. • If you haven’t please send in a change of clothes in a bag with your child’s name. • Please send in permission slips and donations for our upcoming fieldtrip. Leader In Me We have learned all of the 7 habits and are going to be reviewing them daily. Please encourage your child to use the Leader In Me language at home.
