  7. What is a Skills Checks? • Short, paper-based, learning activity • Simple & task orientated • Quick – 10 to 15 minutes • Suitable for UK and overseas staff • 38 checks (& 4 for PAs)

Format of Induction standard resource • Provide overview and information relating to how it impacts on the role of the staff member • Provide links to useful sources • Check your understanding • Look through all the resources in this standard and check that you know what to do (and what not to do) if you suspect someone is being abused. • Did you know? • If abuse is not challenged, it will continue. • Record what you have learned • Your organisation may have a Learning Record Form. If so, use that to write down what you have learned and any questions you might have. Otherwise you can use our Learning Record Form
