THE CHURCH • is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic and the parish church of the Roman Catholics in township Stařeč • Built in Gothic style in 1231. • Rebuilt in Baroque style in the mid- 18th century.
The square clock tower (late Renaissance) with a 24-hour dial from 1597 and a sundial is interesting.
Before the World War I, there were bells from 1553, 1803 and 1877. The bells were used during the both wars. The current bells were consecrated in 1985. The church is being reconstructed since 2007.
