  2. Les entraînements de chien de sécurité se font sur rendez-vous en cours collectifs. Il faut être titulaire d’une carte professionnelle d’agent de sécurité cynophile et du CQP canin, agent de sécurité pour la préparation VAE, ou préparation à la formation du CQP canin. L’entraînement comprend obéissance, éducation, passage d’obstacles, recherche d’armes et d’objets, détection, recherche de personnes, guet, éclairage, sociabilité, mordant, frappe muselée, etc. Cela passe surtout par la formation du maître à conduire et maîtriser son chien.
