Tinyos Zigbee WG

The ETTX 2009 conference in Cork, Ireland, focused on the advancements in implementing standard-compliant ZigBee network layers within TinyOS. The key objectives included building a robust ZigBee protocol stack atop the IEEE 802.15.4 framework, enhancing QoS and security measures, and ensuring seamless integration with TinyOS 802.15.4 implementations. Current challenges involve establishing a modular baseline for the ZigBee Network layer and maintaining compatibility with existing frameworks. Open-ZB features include data transmission management, routing, and mobility solutions tailored for resource-constrained environments.
