Behavioral Expectations Follow directions the first time they are given Raise your hand and wait to be called on to speak Track the speaker Don’t distract others from learning Work hard to get smart! Respect your teacher, your classmates, yourself, your community, and your environment. Repeated and/or severe offenses will result in a phone call home and/or a visit to the principal’s office

Homework Expectations Homework should be review – independent work 30 minutes of reading per night – dramatically increases student reading achievement One page of math nightly, occasional writing, social studies, science homework. Effort is what is important – don’t keep your kid up all night finishing! Sign their log only AFTER they have completed their reading and homework.

  7. Quick Announcements Please stop by the following tables: Bus Table Kidstop Gymnasium, Main Entryway, Cafeteria Parent Information Night – Wednesday, September 21st, 4:30-6:00PM. We will check in on student progress and share any further information on curriculum, homework, etc. Schedule TBD.

  8. Quick Announcements Dismissal changes done before 11AM by calling the office. SPIN->CAN – fundraising for Amity intern and other Spanish Immersion needs Classroom needs: Spanish-English dictionaries, electric pencil sharpener, plastic binder sheets Student Agenda - $5. You can pay now or on the first day of school.
