In this exploration, I, Alex Ellis, compare my artwork with Ho-do Suha's, focusing on the theme of feet and movement. Both pieces depict feet in action—mine shows a foot poised to kick a soccer ball, while Suha's captures a foot about to step on miniature figures. Though both convey movement, the underlying messages differ: Suha's piece reflects overcoming bullying, while mine encourages perseverance. This comparison highlights the beauty of different interpretations within a similar format, showcasing the power of art in expressing personal experiences and emotions.

What’s the same? • Well, there are obviously feet. Both show movement( the foot stepping down, and the foot kicking the soccer ball). Also, you could think of the soccer ball like the miniature people( the foot is about to land/hit them.
What’s different? • On my picture, the foot is about to hit the soccer ball , but on the other one the foot is about to step on the miniature people. Also the meanings can be inferred differently. For example, the artist’s picture meant don’t let other people get you down. My picture basically means don’t stop, go form it.
Other • I personally think the authors motivation was that he was bullied at school but he got over it so he drew this picture. • I think he would have liked my picture because it is basically the same format( mainly the foot).
Credits • It was all me, Alex Ellis.
