  2. Objectives • Take the Learning Style Inventory to identify the best and most difficult ways you learn. • Name your top Learning Style categories • Name the types of learning that are most difficult for you • Name one way you can use this learning style information to help you in school

  3. Take the Learning Style Inventory • If you are not sure if the answer is “yes” or “no”, just circle the choice that is most often true • Answer all the questions

  4. Learning Style Inventory Results • Every “yes” answer gets one point • Tabulate the total for answers 1-5 • Tabulate the total for answers 6-10 • Tabulate the total for answers 11-15

Auditory Learner • Learns things best through hearing things • May struggle after reading a chapter • But then gain understanding after hearing a lecture • Good at understanding true meanings of people’s words • Listens to audible signals like changes in tone • When trying to remember a phone # • Say it out loud Microsoft, 2011

  12. Kinesthetic Learner • Also called tactile learner • Learns best through doing/experiencing things • May become bored by lecture more quickly • Can remember directions by acting them out
