2. Structural Adaptations • One structural adaptation of the walrus is conserve oxygen below water. This is an important adaptation because without it the walrus cannot breathe under water. • A second adaptation is tusk. This is an important adaptation because if they are close to land but in trouble they can pull themselves out of the water to get away. • A third adaptation is fur. This is an important adaptation because they can keep warm. • A fourth adaptation is blubber. This is an important adaptation because it can also keep warm in cold water.

3. Behavioral Adaptations • One behavioral adaptation of the walrus is swimming speed. This is an important adaptation because if predator tries to attack them they can get away quickly • A second adaptation is water adaptations. This is an important adaptation because the walrus uses its tusks In the water to eat, swim, and survive

4. Habitat • The walrus lives in the Atlantic Ocean • It lives in North America/Atlantic Ocean • The walrus needs water and oxygen in its habitat • The walrus uses its tusks to dig holes to blend in

Diet • The walrus is a carnivore and typically eats clams • It also eats all kinds of fish • It also eats cephalopods in the Alantic Ocean • When it sees it it will swim slow so the cephalpods does not hear it and not swim away \ • It also eats gastropods in the Alantic Ocean • The walrus disguses its self with rock and follows it until its time
