This project delves into the field of forensic science, sparked by a lifelong fascination with crime investigation shows like CSI and NCIS. I have always been captivated by the processes of collecting evidence, analyzing DNA, and aiding in criminal apprehension. With a solid foundation in biology and medical technology, I explored the historical development of forensics, from its ancient origins to modern techniques like DNA analysis and fingerprinting. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience in securing crime scenes and evidence collection through mentorship, enhancing my understanding of forensic practices.

  10. Product • The total number of hours spent: 17hrs. • My product and research connected because I did my research on forensic science.pmy product was a mock crime scene with Detective Jones. I feel like I have a better understanding of what forensics/detectives do, because I was able to be hands on.
