Collectionwasofficiallytransfered in 2000 to SUAGM forpreservation, conservation and dissemination • Composed of variousformats (documents, artifacts, audios, videos) generatedfrom 1993-2001 • Estimates: • 1,092 cubic ft. (~ 1.5 million) document • 16,000 videos • 25,000 audios • 1,378 artifacts (158 registered & catalogued) • 508 books (allcatalogued) • The archive is organized according to the Provenance Principle COLLECTION (2 Jan 1993 – 2 Jan 2 2001)

DIGITAL PRESERVATION SYSTEM • Digitizing Governor’s Collection (1993-2001) • Currently digitized 15% of audios & videos (21.81TB) • Required purchase storage system for large scale databases • Currently, installing IBM N7900 System Storage 500TB with scalability 2,046 TB • Plan: digitize 80% outside vendors, 20% inhouse CHALLENGES – DIGITIZING THE GOVERNOR’S FUND
