Wind Lidar Courses • DTU Wind Energy offers courses and training about wind lidar profilers specifically tailored to meet the needs of a particular institution, company or wind energy project.Examples of topic that can be covered: • Operation principles of continuous wave and pulsed lidar systems  • Deploying a lidar  • Data analysis  • Lidar/mast verification  • Turbulence measurements  • Extreme event measurements  • Lidar for resource assessment • Lidar measurements in complex terrain • Lidars in power performance measurement  • Nacelle lidar • Floating lidar • International standards and recommended practices involving lidars • PresentersWind lidar experts from DTU Wind Energy. Who is this course for?The course is intended for wind energy engineers, scientists and others, involved in wind measurements. Aspects of the underlying concepts will be presented, but some basic knowledge of meteorology and wind measurement is assumed. Where and when?The course can take place in DTU premises or at the institution/company receiving the course. The course can last 1 to 3 days depending on the course content. The content, the venue and the date of the course are agreed on by the teachers and the institution/company receiving the course together.Course feeThe course fee depends on the course content and the venue.
