  3. How Wind Energy Works The uneven heating of the land and water causes wind. When the wind comes into contact with the blades of the turbine it converts the wind into energy by turning the blade. As the blades turn the generator at the top of the turbine creates energy.

  4. Pro’s Con’s • Some of the energy changes into a form that is not used at the time such as heat energy • Makes a new form of clean electricity • Not all of the wind cannot be converted into energy • Wind Mills can only be used in windy parts of the world, not cities.
