  2. St Wilfrid's Church This is the top of the church. It’s called a spire This is what we call a grave yard. Main Facts St Wilfrid's Church has been in our town for centuries. Unfortunately it was destroyed by a fire but it was rebuilt in 1907.

  4. Old Buildings Kirkby castle Kirkbymanor house In Kirkby there used to be a big house call a Manor. It was demolished in 1960 and now we have family houses here instead Kirkby Castle is now just a small hill close to St Wilfrid’s Church
