  3. Life • Date of birth – March 21,1907 • Date of death – July 7, 2000 • She was born in Girard, Ohio. • She was born deaf due to a premature birth.

  4. Family • Her husband was Billy Bray she had no children. Her mom was a well known millionaire making hats for leading ladies. While her father was a superintendent of a steel mill.

  5. Treated/Impact • She was treated as if she was any other person. The impact she made on people was, she let people know that being deaf can’t stop you from doing what you want to do.

  6. Famous • She was famous because, she was a deaf dancer and she was great. Her and her husband received honors and medals, because of their dancing.
