Order Verification & Completing Orders
This document outlines the process of order verification and completion within a healthcare setting. There are three types of order verification: Nurse verification, Clerk verification, and Chart check verification. Each type requires specific keys (ORELSE for Nurse and Chart review; OREMAS for Clerk) for access. The procedure includes highlighting orders, verifying them through an electronic signature, and marking orders as complete after validation. Important elements include ensuring that only nursing/text orders can be marked complete and discussing potential issues such as marking medication or lab orders complete by clerks.
