4. Legacy Pipeline Status Report
RMPS is constructing a new 16 inch diameter pipeline from eastern Utah to the Salt Lake City refineries
The pipeline will be approximately 91 miles long and will mostly parallel our existing pipeline system using common rights of way.
The new pipeline will have a throughput capacity of approximately 95,000 barrels per day (bpd).
Four of the five Salt Lake City refiners have signed agreements with RMPS to ship crude oil on the new pipeline.
Phase 1 Construction will begin in October 2006 to be completed by the end of the year
Phase 2 will follow with completion estimated to be complete October 2007
Operation to begin later 4th Quarter 2007
Legacy Pipeline will parallel existing pipeline system allowing new 16 inch pipeline to utilize existing stations, with the exception of one new station at Frontier
