JLV Product Overview • JLV is a Web-Based Clinical Tool: • Provides an integrated read-only view of electronic healthcare information data from the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sources • Provides one common display that improves access to patient records and reduces the need to transfer information via fax, hardcopy mail or disc media methods

6. Immunization Data Awareness • Currently, JLV displays both DoD and VA immunization data • VA allows for patient self-reporting of immunizations • Recommend Providers use only DoD immunization data as the basis for their patient assessment and decision-making

7. “Inactive” Notes in JLV and AHLTA • Lists from JLV and AHLTA may appear different JLV: Progress notes widget shows Five records. AHLTA: Seven records are displayed in AHLTA. The following do not show in JLV: (1) Study Report – Cardiac Catheterization (2) Study Report - Bronchoscopy • The list in JLV (on the left) does not include notes with a status of “inactive”. The list in AHLTA (on the right) includes “inactive” notes • This may change in the future as systems and standards for sharing mature
