  2. News • DSO test postponed to Mar.1st and 2nd (it was Feb. 25th-26th) • No access underground, no visits • Flammable gases: • MTG: as from Mon 13th Feb (then stop during SAA3 intervention) • HMP: as from Mon 20thFeb • PH-DT (gas-group): upgrade of the PLC and PVSS codes. The intervention will last about 8 hours • Proposed time: February 27th Feb TC meeting - A.Tauro

  3. Planning wk7 1/2 • Access underground possible only after 17:00 (including Saturday) • Exceptions: TPC, SPD, Muon TRK • Fri 17th Feb. Consolidation 48V network (after incident 11th Jan 2011) • These test will provoke several power outages (and consequently stop of services like ventilation, cooling etc.). • For ALICE we adopt the same strategy as for the emergency stop tests 2 weeks ago: • DAQ, HLT, DCS will be off: • DAQ and DCS between Thu midnight and Fri 8:00 AM; HLT on Thu evening • Detector equipment (including gas and cooling) shall be in a state to support power interruptions. We should assume that all power will be cut, including gas and cooling systems (detector cooling, iced and mixed water). Even the SPD, being on UPS, might be cut as the interruption is likely to be longer than the lifetime of the UPS. I leave it to the experts if they want to keep it running until the cut arrives, or if they decide to switch off preventively. DCS will be switched off completely. We would prefer, if operations allow, to switch of on Thursday evening. • No access underground (except for those part of the test, or real emergencies) TC meeting - A.Tauro

  4. Planning wk7 2/2 • TPC capacitors  will be finished next week • SPD cooling • CTP: test clock jitter with both L3 and Dipole magnets (Mon 12:00 to 14:30) • Transport + P2tech: • Shielding blocks  O-side wall completed, installing I-side green bridge • Muon TRK: • Repair slats on ST3-ST4-ST5 • ADA: test one Micro-Channel-Plate replacing a traditional PMT • TE-VSC: pump-down central beampipe (cont.) • GS-ASE: sniffer SW upgrade • EN-CV-BE: start-up and commissioning new ITS dehumidifier • EN-CV: removal unused FB pipe (I-side) (Mon, need nacelle) done TC meeting - A.Tauro

  5. Planning wk8 • Fri 24th Feb: no access underground during the all day • Maintenance power transformer EMT306/2X • Maintenance UX25 lift • Maintenance PX24 PAD/MAD • TPC capacitors • SPD cooling • Transport + P2tech: • SAA3 + PX24 plug • Test UJ22 jig + annual maintenance P2 cranes • PMD: move to final position ? • Muon TRG: • General global check • Muon TRK: • Repair slats on ST3-ST4-ST5 • TE-VSC: take out GIS table (Feb. 21st) • GS-ASE: sniffer SW upgrade • EN-CV-BE: start-up and commissioning new ITS dehumidifier (21st Feb) TC meeting - A.Tauro
