Education • 4 years for bachelor’s degree • Biology • Chemistry • Psychology • 4 years at medical school for MD • 1 year internship • 3years of residency • To become board certified: • Pass exam set by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or a similar board • Obtain license from state
