  5. S5/6 Supported Study Supported Study is on tonight Please take advantage of this as it is there to help you improve your results. It is well known that those who attend Supported Study score better in the exams Modern Apprenticeship Opportunities There is an opportunity to apply for a junior hairdresser apprenticeship [MA] and a trainee upholsterer apprenticeship, both based in the Southside of Glasgow. If you are interested see Mrs Patterson ASAP

  6. S5/6 Interested in Finance? Summer School Opportunity Kaplan Financial Accounts and Business Summer School takes place on Tuesday 14th July until Friday 17th July 2015. Another opportunity to get ahead. Kaplan introduce students to working in a professional environment, including sessions on: CV skills Interview skills Health and safety in the workplace Equality and diversity A short business game Introduction to accounting If you want more information see Miss McWaters

  7. S5/6 University of Strathclyde Summer School Are you S4, S5 or S6 and thinking about going to University? This course will give you a head start in your chosen career. You have 10 courses to choose from:   S@S Accelerate 1 (Monday 22nd - Friday 26th June 2015) Mini Space Academy (Electronic & Electrical Engineering) Psychology Product Design Sport S@S Accelerate 2 (Monday 27th - Friday 31st July 2015) Business Chemistry Education Languages Law Physics The cost of S@S Accelerate is £100 and it is non-residential.
