  2. Absolute location

  3. The exact spot on Earth where something is found, often stated in latitude and longitude

  9. An economy in w/the gov’t owns most of the industries and makes most of the economic decisions

  11. An economy in w/ business owners and consumersdecide what to make, sell and buy

  12. Mixed Economy

  13. An exchange of goods and services based on at least two other types of economic systems

  14. Trade Barrier

  15. Something that prevents exchanges between people or nations

  16. Tariff

  17. Taxes placed on items imported from outside the country

  18. Quota

  19. In international trade, this is the limit put on the amount of a specific good that can be imported

  21. a trade barrier in which one country announces that it will no longer trade with another country in order to isolate and cause problems in that country's economy.

  38. Federal Federate = covenant, league or alliance

  39. Type of government in w/ statesdesignate control to a central authority

  40. Autocratic auto = self cratic/cracy = rule

  41. Ruling w/ unlimited power

  42. Oligarchic oligoi = few arkhein = to rule

  43. Gov’t of the few, usually ruled by the wealthy

  44. Democratic demo = common people cratic/cracy = rule

  45. Political or social equality for all

  46. Presidential

  47. Referring to the highest office of a government; power is constitutionally kept separate from legislature

  48. Parliamentary

  49. Supreme power is held by legislature, who are elected by citizens, the leader is the Prime Minister.
