This report summarizes the research conducted during Week 8 of the UCF REU program, focusing on "Actions From Above." The study aims to recognize various actions involving single individuals, person-to-person interactions, and person-vehicle/building scenarios. Key challenges include handling moving cameras and limited views of subjects. A dataset of seven distinct actions performed by multiple individuals was collected, including walking, running, limping, throwing, kicking, picking up objects, and digging. Sample videos illustrate these actions, contributing to advancements in action recognition techniques.
