  1. 19 September 2012一 Bell Ringer I hope you completed your home prep last night. Start by paper boxing, but after you unfold the paper, fold the bottom of the page to the center fold so that you have made six boxes of unequal size. This paper folding is called a six pack. Make sure you head your paper and title it “Reading Quiz”. This slide will advance 3 minutes after the bell. If your paper is not prepared at that time, I will be taking off points from your quiz grade.

Get out your “Directions for Democracy” notes from yesterday. If you weren’t here, quickly head a paper and title it “Directions for Democracy”. I am timing how long this transition will take you. I will stop the timer when everyone is sitting silently and has the packet and notes ready.

  10. Take one minute to skim over the first page of the packet and compare it to your notes from yesterday. Anytime you see something from your notes in the packet, please circle it (in the packet). This packet is yours, so don’t be afraid to write in it. 三 Directions for Democracy
