This project aims to design and implement a device to measure, display, and limit AC power usage, promoting energy sharing and awareness. The team, led by Kevin Manieri with advisors Dr. Fish and Tom Austin, includes students Dave Allen, Jack Geiger, Aaron Gettamy, Jon Martin, Ryan Slater, and Zach Sorrell. The clients for the project are SIM and Matt Walsh in Mahadaga, Burkina Faso, with a focus on energy conservation in the commercial market. Key milestones include completing hardware construction for the KWHR Meter Version 1.2v2, software coding, and system testing. The team aims to finish building and testing prototypes before January and plan a site trip to Burkina Faso in January. Prayer requests include maintaining energy and passion in the project.
