Major benefits from the project • Real time information on train traffic available on Projection screens and also on Controllers workstations • Nothing is left for imagination since updated information is available leading to safety enhancement. • Controller now ‘CONTROLS’ the traffic instead of recording and working the phones • Failure analysis based on Log & replay facility • Generation of MIS reports – Train Control Charts, Punctuality reports, Train Graphs and Failure reports • Multi-pronged communication facilitates better handling of unusual incidents • Motorman/guard to control room • Motorman to motorman • Motorman to guard
