Life History Characteristics • Has a predator/prey relationship • Predators include snakes, owls, hawks, sharks, fur seals, sea lions, cats, and dogs • Females are sexually mature at 3-4 years • Males are sexually mature at 4-6 years • Lay two eggs at once • If both hatch they only raise one • Reproduce twice a year • Lives in colonies
