Welcome to the Kelloggsville Public Schools Bond Committee meeting on October 25, 2012. Our purpose is to build a strong team to address the needs of our schools and recommend actions to the Board. This meeting will cover what a bond is, how it can finance buildings, renovations, and technology improvements, and where we currently stand with our millage rate. Process: what is a bond? Lump sum amount that a district borrows through the sale of bond. Payments are made through levied millage Bonds purchase buildings and other large items. Such as. . .

What millage do we currently pay? • 7.3 mills • Last levy: December, 2014 • Annual yield: Approximately $2.4 million
