S. Depression of 1908 • Mother, Grandmother, Grandfather unemployed 4 + months

She was very involved during my teen years. I belonged to the Rainbow girls and she was an Eastern Star, so she chaperoned all the activities and went to most of the meetings with me. You could always tell he was drunk, but no one ever saw him drink.”
