  3. What were some structural damages caused by the earthquake It was September 19,1985 when it happened it was the Mexico earthquake causing destruction throughout the country of Mexico. Many things were destroyed like: • a huge medical center that collapsed. • Other buildings caught on fire and were destroyed immediately • Other weaker buildings just collapsed because of the seismic.

What were some structural damages caused by the earthquake • one of the most devastating things that happened was when several high raised buildings and hotels collapsed, killing many people who were in them and leaving many children orphans and others with no family alive at all. • another building that collapsed was a church in the city of Guadalajara that collapsed during the earthquake and killed twenty-five people ;even though many people helped rescue the bodies that were buried alive in the destruction many people still did not make it some people suffocated in the dirt and others just died of hunger and thirst. It was considered one of Americas biggest disasters

  5. What were some structural damages caused by the earthquake. A very traumatizing thing that happened during the earthquake was when the under-ground train system failed and left many people stuck in the trains for several hours in there they passed several aftershocks of 7.5 on the Richter scale this led to many consequences like : • People passing out • Many people were traumatized • Others were just so terrified and the couldn't even go to sleep at night. • Others were just so traumatized they felt they couldn't even go to the bathroom alone • Other people just continued to live their lives normal. It was for sure a horrible earthquake.

What were some other effects caused by the earthquake Besides structural damages there was also economical effects like the complete failure of many underinsured businesses mostly informal economy not huge very important businesses .After people lost their live hood in the earthquake many people hade to leave the country in search of a job in the United States. http://www.jpowered.com/images/products/graphs163x219.gif

What were some other effects caused by the earthquake The earthquakes magnitude was so immense that it created several small tsunamis that were from 3.0 to 1 meters high and spread throughout the country of Mexico. Due to the effects of erosion and flooding there was not a lot of damage caused by the tsunamis.

What were some other effects caused by the earthquake The worst damage of all was philological .Many people lost their houses and were left with no families .Many families separated because they left to different states and countries in search of jobs and anew life .The worst thing of all was that many children were left orphans that was the worst philological damage .

Peoples personal experiences with the earth quake and its destruction This horrible tragic day in Mexico made many people feel many different things and also had many different experiences some felt the experience of losing a loved family of member and others felt the tragic loss all their family some children were even left orphans. Here is one persons experiences with the earthquake she went through the entire thing at the age of twelve She told me that she had never felt something so horrible in her entire life .It was the worst thing in the world she said.

I thought my friend was pulling my chair back but then I saw everything shaking and knew it was not my friend but it was an earthquake. Did you feel fear at the time of the earthquake? Yes I felt fear of not knowing what would happen to me. How much of Mexico was destroyed during the earthquake ? A huge part of Mexico was destroyed I would say with my knowing than more than one third of the earthquake was destroyed.

  11. Peoples personal experiences with the earth quake and its destruction How did it affect your life ? It affected my life because I thought that at any time it would happen again. Who was with you at the time of the time of the earthquake? Have you ever felt something so powerful in your entire life? No I have felt pretty strong earth quakes but nothing so big. Will this be something you will remember for the rest of your life? Yes I think I will even though it was a huge tragedy i will remember it for the rest my life because it was a huge experience.
