  2. LT. GEN. DEWAYNE PATRICK Rotary Club of Thompson Lt. Gen. DeWayne Patrick, (Ret.) served 31 years in the United States Army. Upon retiring, DeWayne returned to his hometown of Thomson, GA where he became city administrator for 12 year. DeWayne has 20 years of perfect attendance in Rotary. As a youngster, DeWayne developed tenets that he contained follow to this day. Some are: Pray often and have compassion for others. Put first things first. Do everything expertly Speak the truth and carefully guard your integrity Be loyal to others and the intuitions you represent General Patrick's military awards and decorations include: Two Distinguished Service Medals The Silver Star Two Bronze Stars
