  2. TEITAC • TIA Representation: Mary Brooner/Fred Lucas • Other industry associations: ITI, ITAA, CTIA, • Companies: Avaya, Panasonic, IBM, Dell, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Apple, AOL, Cingular, ATT, Adobe, Canon, Verizon • Will meet 6x in next year. + subcomms.

  3. TEITAC – what interests want • States: Testable standards, measurable standards, harmonization • Industry: Harmonization, protect innovation, incent profitability, commercially implementable • Consumers: Testing, Usable access, harmonization so long as not a step back, accessibility impact statement, interoperability w/ assistive technology. “need all the functionality of the technology.”

  4. TEITAC Subcommittee • Subcommittees are open to anyone • Industry members needed with strong technical background • Populate each of the subcommittees • Distribute info across industry • Tee up where industry conflicts through TIA accessibility working group
