Wellington Holiday Parade Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2:30pm It is highly suggested that students try to car pool as much as possible due to the traffic and parking limitations.  A map is included for your reference.  Please contact Mr. Snipes with any questions at aaron.snipes@palmbeachschools.orgThanks! • Report Time: 12 noon • Parade Start Time: 2:30 pm • (Forest Hill Blvd will be closed down at 12:30 so arrive early!) Parent Drop-Off Location: Commons Office Building • (12794 W. Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414) Parents • After dropping off your student, go to the end of the route on the map to park.  This is where it says “Dispersal Route” on the map.  Park in the Publix shopping center as this is where the kids will end up after the parade.  Attire • Concert Band Only students will be wearing black slacks, black belt, black socks, black comfortable shoes (or as dark as possible), and blue band polos.  • Marching Band students will be wearing uniforms.  Please make sure you have your white gloves, black socks, and redemption shirt. Uniforms will be put on upon arrival.  • Colorguardstudents will be wearing Redemption uniforms with show make-up.  • ALL student must wear some kind of holiday hat or cap • Hydration • All students should start drinking a lot of water beginning Sunday morning in order to be well hydrated throughout the route.  We will also have water available. • Dismissal • Students will be dismissed together after we finish the parade route. • The only instruments that we will be bringing are the percussion instruments and the sousaphones.  All other instruments must be brought by the students.  PLEASE LEAVE CASES INSIDE THE CAR AND ONLY BRING WHAT IS NEEDED.
