  4. Joan Miro was influenced by three types of art:Fauvism: A Group of modern artist that used bright colors in their paintings.Cubism: A type of art where objects are broken up and then reassembled in an abstract mannerCatalan and Roman Frescos:

  5. However, Miro is considered a Surrealist (An artist that adds the element of surprise to their artwork. They take every day objects and place them in odd settings. You can see an example in Salvador Dali’s painting on the right).
