Which country suffered the greatest number of military casualties in WWI? 2. What might account for the relatively low number of American casualties in WWI?

What did the war cost in terms of the number of a. civilian deaths? b. military deaths? c. injuries? d. refugees? 3. What were the estimated economic costs?
