  2. Habitat The Arctic hare lives under ground.It lives in the tundra.The den is 2 inches wide.It lives on rocky slops. They live in groups .They can be in groups of 120. They sometimes rest under trees.They do not like to live in wooded areas.

  3. food The Arctic Hare mostly eats woody plants.It also eats mosses, berries, leaves and even meat from Hunters traps.They eat seaweed washed up by the tide.When they are thirsty they will eat snow.It eats bark and roots.

  4. Enemies An adult hare Has not a lot of enemies.It has wolfs,gyrfalcons, snowy owls and arctic fox. It also has the links as an enemies. There main enemy is the wolf.

  5. Babies The young are born in late May, June or July.The farther north they are the later the babies are born.The babies are born in grass or moss.The female gives birth 2-3 times a year.They have 2-5 babies.The babies only need their mothers milk for a year.

  6. Inuit uses The arctic hare serves as food for the Inuit.The arctic hare proved good fir for the Inuit.The Inuit sell arctic hare skin.
