The insurance industry can be classified into two major groups: Life Insurance Companies and Property and Casualty Insurance : Life insurance provides protection against the possibility of ultimately death, illnesses, and retirement. Property and Casualty Insurance protects against personal injury and liability such as accidents, theft, and fire.
