Space Unit/ESOA Clay – slab construction. Frank Stella, “Bachelor” Oil on aluminum, 1995. Bas relief clay vessel with added sculptural features; piece inspired by a cezanne landscape painting. Inspired by H. Melville’s, Moby Dick; this piece is a strong example of a high relief sculpture.
