This study investigates the role of the M2 muscarinic receptor (M2R) in various biological processes by comparing SPHK1a knockout (KO) mice with wild-type (WT) counterparts. By analyzing different parameters across both groups, we aim to understand the physiological changes and signaling pathways influenced by M2R expression. This research contributes to our knowledge of the M2R's functions in cellular signaling and potential implications in disease models. The results may provide insights into therapeutic targets for conditions influenced by muscarinic receptors.
