  1. Get your things from the cabinet. Get your homework out. Pick up TWO colored markers. Sit in your groups from yesterday. In your notebook, jot down one reason why the United States and Japan were in conflict with each other. Thursday, March 27th

  2. Groups of 3-4 • Re-read the article “War in the Pacific” • As you are reading, underline the following: • Group #1- Japanese actions BEFORE Pearl Harbor • Group #2- US actions BEFORE Pearl Harbor “War in the Pacific”

  3. Transfer what you have underlined in the article to the graphic organizer. • With your group, discuss and record if this action escalated the conflict between the US and Japan as well as give an explanation. HOMEWORK: Read p.28-37 of Unbroken and complete structured notes Graphic Organizer
