  3. Discussion Questions • What is truth? • Does truth change over time? Is it the same for all cultures? • Why should I care about truth? • Do people ignore or deny truth because of a lack of evidence for the truth, or because they can’t handle the truth?

  7. Who Makes the Rules? God You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven and gave them right rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments, (Neh 9:13) The law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness… (Rom 2:15) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2Ti 3:16)

  10. How Do We Measure Up? The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. (Psa 14:2) They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. (Psa 14:3) For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23)

  11. What Does it Matter? The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23a) But the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom 6:23b)
