Lib-Portal A Web platform for the management of public libraries & libraries of educational organizations The software platform was approved by the Israel Center for Libraries (www.icl.org.il) as one of the library management platforms that may be purchased for use by public libraries as well as for school libraries.

Technology • C.O.S – Collaborative Open Source. • The library catalog can be stored in standard data bases platforms, such as Oracle-MySQL. • The application platform has an enhanced back officewith many capabilities; it is simple, flexible and usable, and operates over the internet or the intranet of the organization.

Technology • The available mechanisms allow the webmaster independent control of most of the design and elements of the forms and templates in the system: scrolling list values, check-boxes, field titles, reports, definitions and display, with no need for costly professional programmer intervention.
