Before NSO • As of today, you should have already: • Submitted a FAFSA • From your BeaBlueHen account • Reviewed your Financial Aid Awards • Submitted any additional item that “requiring your attention” • Established a PIN for your UDID • Set-up your UD email and password = Udel Net ID www.udel.edu/sfs

  5. What is UDSIS? • It replaces the BeABlueHen site as your source for information • It provides all your options for “Self Service” Campus Finances Grant Parent Access View Financial Aid Accept Financial Aid “To Do” List www.udel.edu/sfs

  6. Step 1: Grant Parent Billing Access • While you are here at NSO, students must grant “Billing” access • If not, only the student will have access to Campus Finances Grant Parent Access www.udel.edu/sfs

  7. Step 2- Accept your Financial Aid Award • In early July, you will receive an email advising that you can Accept/Decline or Change your award • Link from email and our web site to UDSIS View Financial Aid Accept Financial Aid www.udel.edu/sfs

  8. Step 3- Check your “To Do” Listfor other Financial Aid Requirements “To Do” List www.udel.edu/sfs

  9. What are these “Other Requirements?” • In early July, please have the… • Student complete • Master Promissory Note • Entrance Counseling • Perkins Note • Parent must complete the • Parent Plus MPN www.udel.edu/sfs

  10. STEP 5 - Look for eBill reminder • The third week in July, our first payment notification will be sent via email • Email reminders are sent monthly to the student and any “Billing” address they set-up, when a payment is due www.udel.edu/sfs

  11. August 1, fall semester due date • January 4, spring semester due date • Go to www.udel.edu/paybill www.udel.edu/sfs

  12. STEP 6- Make a Payment • Update additional credits if necessary • Choose Payment Option • Full Payment • Installment Payment • Review your financial aid and verify no additional action is required www.udel.edu/sfs

  13. Installment Payment • 4 equal payments for the semester Fall Semester Spring Semester • $50 fee for that option • Any change to the balance is incorporated into the monthly payment www.udel.edu/sfs

  14. STEP 7- Select your Payment Type • Online Check • -or- • Mail a Check • Payments can be made via CHECK only • Online check payments require bank routing and account number information • Mail a check option provides remittance slip www.udel.edu/sfs

Read and Respond to ANY Emails • We utilize email for most of our communication. • It is very important that you read and take action on any requests sent. • Delay in responding to requests for information can delay disbursement of your Pending Financial Aid, late fees, holds, etc. www.udel.edu/sfs
