This study presents significant findings from a survey on PTSD among participants, revealing that over 51% report a PTSD diagnosis, with half of those likely undiagnosed. The data indicates a strong correlation between probable PTSD and co-occurring conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as alcohol dependency. Notably, up to 90% of heavy drinkers exhibit probable PTSD. Interestingly, the survey found that over 95% of individuals with frequent suicidal feelings also have probable PTSD, highlighting a critical area for intervention.
