  2. What is Mediterranean Diet? • Well Mediterranean Diet is the healthy way of eating and living by feeding on foods from Greece, Italy, and The Middle East. • It helps to grow a notorious and healthy life.

What Are The Main Ingredients? • Mediterranean Diet comes from Greece, Italy, and countries from the Middle East. • To the right will be shown ingredients that come from these parts of the world. Italy: Mainly consumes of, Anchovies, Vinegar, Capers, Mozzarella Cheese, Pine Nuts, Mushrooms, Olive Oil, and Tomatoes. Greece: Cucumbers, Feta Cheese, Honey, Lemons, Olive Oil, Yogurt. Spain: Almonds, Anchovies, Garlic, and Ham

  5. Ingredients [Pictures] Here shown to the right will be pictures about the ingredients on the last slide. The picture with the black background is Mozzarella Cheese. The green bean like things are capers. The Feta Cheese is the picture below the Capers. To the left of the feta cheese are almonds.

  6. The Secret of Mediterranean Diet • The secret to all this healthy food is olive oil. Olive oil is full of healthy things for the heart. • Some of the healthy things are: • Vitamin K7 • Polyphenols • Carotenoids • Chlorophyll Carotenoids and Chlorophyll give olive oil its type of color. Polyphenols are the main source of the scent, flavor and the growth of molecules

  7. What Can Olive Oil Do VS. Vegetable Oil? Olive Oil Vegetable Oil Better use for cooking because it has a higher smoking point. It is made up of healthy seeds. Virtually has no taste for people who don’t like oily foods. • Protects and reduces against Heart Attacks. • Reduces your cholesterol level. • Reduces stress • Fights off against Cancer. • It also improves your glucose control.

  8. Some Delicious Recipes! Avocado Smoothie Ingredients: • Avocados[peeled] • Frozen Bananas • 2% Milk Directions: • Mix all of the ingredients above into a blender. Serve immediately. Grape over Greek Ingredients: • Grapes • Pistachios • Low Fat Greek Yogurt • Honey Directions: • Mix all of the ingredients together in one bowl. Serve chilled.
