  3. Bachata Music Bachata is a Latino genre of music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the early parts of the 20th century with the African descendants. Bachatasongs are usually romantic but often speak of heartbreak and sadness.

  4. Bachata Dance Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. The basic bachata step consists of a horizontal, three-step movement, with steps on each beat of the music, followed by a tap on the fourth beat.

  6. Bachata Artist: Prince Royce Geoffrey Royce Rojas, known by his stage name Prince Royce, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer from The Bronx. At an early age, Royce took an interest in music and into his teenage years, began experimenting with music and writing poetry. Santos has been a key figure in popularizing Bachata, with hits reaching near the top of the Billboard Latin charts and the top of charts in Europe. In 2002, the band's song "Obsesión" was number one in Italy for sixteen consecutive weeks.

His debut album, Suavemente was a hit, both in Latin America and in the US.   12. Salsa Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Cuba and Puerto Rico. The movements of salsa have origins in Cuban Son, Cha chacha, Mambo and other dance forms. The dance, along with the salsa music, originated in the mid-1970s.
