  2. So many countries, so many languages. It is sure that language is a mean of communication. It helps people to understand each other to make them more flexible in communication. That’s why, I have chosen this topic for my essay.

  3. People all over the world debate whether it is necessary to know languages of people living in other countries or not, if they are so important for communication?

  4. Speaking foreign languages is extremely beneficial. It is necessary to learn them. That’s why students have got such subject as a foreign language at school.

  5. Learning English can be very useful. It allows people to read English literature in original. For example: Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare and others.

  6. What is more, English is spoken everywhere. When you travel to many countries, many people speak English. If you want to ask something or to get some information, you can also use English.

  7. Some people consider that learning foreign languages has several negative sides. Firstly, it takes a lot of time and patience. Though, they do not even know their own language. • What is more, they think that when they are abroad they can speak their native language and everybody should understand them.

  8. As for me, I am keen on learning foreign languages and if I have an opportunity I will learn more than one foreign language. It goes without a saying English as a foreign language is very useful for my future career. So I consider that English is a language of international communication.
